Beginning at 8 AM Saturday, first-time runners and athletes dashed down the airport’s longest runway. The run drew two thousand runners as it did before the pandemic and made it an event to remember! Through this race, the organization raised $83,000, and the United Way Suncoast raised $500,000.

The TPA is enhancing the airport experience by going digital. The airport will have boarding pass scanning, biometric screening, and e-gates for a seamless and quick process. This will currently be at select entry and exit points. In addition, the TPA is offering more user-friendly options for a better customer experience. For example, you can use the Grab app to order food from any airport restaurant and get the food while you wait in line or pick it up yourself. You can even use the Starbucks app to order inside the airport if you don’t want to stand in the long lines. An Increase In Nonstop Flights

They’re outdoing themselves in 2022 by introducing even more routes for nonstop connections to popular destinations. Florida has become a desirable vacation spot for its amazing weather and many attractions. This has also encouraged bringing more routes to the TPA.
Less Congestion on TPA Roads
Nobody likes traffic, nobody. And since TPA gets a lot of domestic and international flyers daily, they are quickly wrapping up roadway projects, and there should be less road congestion. This will streamline the traffic. Moreover, the Blue Express Curbside is decongesting arrival and departure curbsides. This has made pick-ups and drop-offs easier.
